CFC Status: New reorganization of the Casablanca Finance City financial hub
As part of the harmonization of CFC status with international standards, and in order to meet OECD and European Union tax compliance requirements, Morocco has just adopted new measures for the reorganization of the Casablanca Finance City financial hub.
The reform adopted by Legislative Decree No. 2.20.665 and published in Official Bulletin No. 6922 of October 1, 2020 repeals the provisions of Law 44-10 and introduces new provisions for the financial hub, in terms of operating procedures, governance and tax provisions.
The purpose of this note is to provide a brief overview of the main new features of CFC status.
