About the Speaker – Antoine Mayaud
Antoine Mayaud is a third-generation member of the Mulliez family (founders of Auchan, Decathlon, Leroy Merlin, etc.). Aged 72, with 4 children and 11 grandchildren, Antoine is an agronomist by training.
He spent 12 years in agricultural development in Morocco, Burkina Faso, and France, followed by 13 years at Danone, managing industrial organization development across Europe.
In 1994, he joined the Family Council of the Association Familiale Mulliez (AFM) and later became President of CréAdev, the family’s venture investment arm, and Chair of Pimkie until 2009.
From 2010 onwards, Antoine fully committed himself to the “Affectio Societatis” mission he initiated: fostering unity, engagement, and purpose within the Mulliez family, through information, education, and involvement—whether as employees, entrepreneurs, board members, or active supporters.
He has also served on the boards of Abilways, Auchan Italy, and chaired the AFM Nomination Committee.
Today, Antoine dedicates his time to advising leadership clubs and entrepreneurial families worldwide on governance and building strong family legacies.
